About Us
Breastfeeding Naturally is a family run business, specialising in breastfeeding and babywearing products for families with young children.
We have only just opened (October 2009), so do please bear with us if you can't find what you are looking for - do drop us an email as we may have it in stock, just not on the site.
We are based in Devon, the county where I was born, and we are able to offer our products to the whole of the UK and EU.
I breastfed my daughter until she was 14 months old, despite numerous difficulties, so if you have a question about breastfeeding do feel free to drop me an email and I will do all I can to help, though please be aware that this will in the form of one mother helping another as I am not a trained breastfeeding counsellor.
I also have lots of experience of babywearing - I carried my daughter until she was 4 years old in a variety of slings.
We aim to offer you friendly and informed advice and if that means you leave the site without buying anything but have the information that you need to continue breastfeeding, then we will be very happy.
Not only do we passionately believe in breastfeeding and natural parenting, we are also passionate about sustainability and ethics.
Where ever possible, we stock ethical and sustainable products and adopt green business practices:
- All plastics used in our products are free from Bisphenol-A
- When choosing new products to stock, we use a range of criteria such as value for money, usefulness, sustainability and product miles. This means we give priority to UK made products
- We keep our packaging down to a minimum, meaning you may find your order dispatched in a box that has already been used
- We use a more expensive but 100% renewable electricity tariff
- We reduce, reuse and recycle: it can take us over 2 months to produce one bag of business waste!
