The Ergo Baby Carrier Waist Extender increases the the waist belt of the baby sling to a maximum of 51/56". It simply clips into the existing waist belt of the Ergo baby Carrier.
The Waist Extender extends the circumference of the waist belt of the Ergo baby carrier by 8", from 43" to 51" on the standard Ergo sling and from 48" to 56" on the Ergo baby carrier Sport .
We do not recommend using more than one waist extension.
In addition, we highly recommend that the waist belt on the baby carrier not be extended further than a one-inch tab. This allows for easier adjustments.
